Hiking fun for the whole family
On the banks of the Biela
The Bielatal is famous for its high density of climbing peaks. But this valley is also a beautiful region for enjoyable hiking.
Your path first takes you along the banks of the Biela and past bizarre mountain formations. Just behind the German-Czech border, framed by two imposing rock massifs, is the Ostrov village. Here you stop and can explore the history of the place, visit the monastery church or just enjoy the rippling of the Biela.
From here it continues west back across the border and through the mountain forests back to our starting point. On the way you also have the opportunity to visit some caves.
We will conclude our day in the Ottomühle, where we can watch the climbers storming the summits around and thin back on this wonderful hiking day. One pleasure hike for the whole family (also for those who are less physically fit, since there is little difference in height).
