Cave hike at the Quirl
Around the Quirl (table mountain near Königstein, with the largest summit area in the entire Saxon Switzerland), there are different caves, which you will explore in detail on this tour.
You walk, crawl, climb or wind your way through crevices and shafts with absolute fun guaranteed! Some caves are very easy to access and impress with their large rooms. Others, on the other hand, offer special features in the ascent and you will feel like a real caver.
Sturdy clothing, long trousers and sturdy shoes (even in summer) are recommended. The tour is suitable for sporty and adventurous children from the age of 8 years.
TIMETABLE
DAY TRIP 09.00 All participants arrive punctually at the agreed meeting point (see map). After a short briefing and discussion, you will be given your safety helmet and a headlamp. Please bring a backpack so you don't have to carry your helmet between cave visits. 09.15 We make our way into the wooded area where the caves are located. 15.00 Back at the starting point of the tour. Farewell and safe journey home.
