Rauenstein & Bärenstein
Our tour first leads through numerous Iron brackets and ladders to the summit of the Rauenstein (no climbing equipment necessary, no danger of falling).
Here we can enjoy the view of our next stage destination during a short break: the Bärensteine. From here the day becomes adventurous again and you scramble on small paths through the fairytale forest landscape of the bear-stones.
A visit to Thürmsdorf Castle (with its own chocolate factory) marks the end of your hike before you return to the starting point of the tour
Suitable for children who love hiking, not least because of the promise of the Chocolate Castle!
TIMETABLE
DAY TRIP 09.00 All participants find themselves punctually on the agreed date Meeting point (see map). Get to know each other and present the course of the tour. 09.15 We make our way towards Gasthof Rauenstein. 10.30 a.m Arrival at the summit plateau of the Rauenstein. Break. 11.00 Continuation of the tour in the forest area of the bear stones. 12.30 p.m Arrival at Thürmsdorf Castle. Visit and taste the products of the chocolate factory. 13.00 Beginning of the way back. 14.00 Arrive at the starting point of the tour. Farewell and homeward journey.
