High above the Atlantic
YOGA in
Tamadaba
The Tamadabas pine forests are high above the island and are an absolute highlight of every Gran Canaria visit. The starting and ending point for our trek to Tamadaba is the village of San Pedro (a few kilometers from Agaete). From here we climb the plateau on which the majestic pine forest grows, visible from afar.
The destination of the hike is the ruins of an old scout camp. From there you can enjoy the fantastic view high above the Atlantic and relax in the coolness of the forest.
The subsequent yoga class (Vinyasa) in the open air brings you even closer to nature and gives you new strength for the way back. Arrived back in San Pedro, you can drive with us to Agaete and refresh yourself with a bath in crystal clear water.
Especially in summer it is important to start early, because it gets very hot around noon and you don't want to be on one of the exposed mountain flanks at this time. Please also remember at least two liters of water per person, a sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen! A parasol can also be highly recommended for particularly sensitive people or children!
