Hike & via ferrata

Via Ferrata to the Frienstein

This day hike really has it all! In one of the most spectacular parts of Saxon Switzerland, the Affensteinen (as the name suggests, very popular for climbers), you dare to climb two of the most beautiful iron paths the region has to offer: the Häntzschel and the Twin stairs. Even if these via ferratas are not as long as alpine via ferrata, you can get adventure definitely at your expense!

Once you have overcome the first via ferrata, you continue towards the Frienstein. At grandiose view you can enjoy a well-deserved break here. Depending on the weather and mood, there are many different ways to explore the mountains from here, until the hiking day ends with the descent via the twin steps.

This tour is only suitable for participants and children who are absolutely sure-footed and have a good head for heights.

NOTE:
* Depending on the participants' arrival options, there is also an option with a possible starting and ending point in Schmilka!

Please specify when booking or make an inquiry; we are happy to advise you!
