For multi-day tours, we use a deposit system. Once your deposit (30% of the total price) has been received, your booking is guaranteed. Depending on how far in advance you cancel your spot, you’ll receive either a full refund or a partial reimbursement (see the table below).
However, after your booking request, you will always receive an email with a detailed breakdown of the deposit amount, exact travel dates and total costs, as well as the specific cancellation deadlines. This gives you the chance to review everything and decide whether it works for you before making any payment.
The payment process usually looks like this (may vary slightly depending on the tour):
1. Booking Terms
1.1. Your booking becomes valid upon receipt of either the full payment or a 30% deposit of the total price.
1.2. If a deposit is made, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour begins.
2. Trip Execution 2.1. Some tours require a minimum number of participants.
2.2. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tour will be cancelled and 100% of any payments made will be refunded.

3.1. If you cancel: ✓ Free cancellation up to 60 days before the tour (100% refund) ✓ 15% cancellation fee of the total price from 59 days before the tour (85% refund) ✓ 30% cancellation fee of the total price from 45 days before the tour (70% refund) ✓ 100% cancellation fee of the total price from 30 days before the tour (0% refund)
3.2. If the tour is cancelled by the organizer: If the minimum number of participants is not reached or the tour must be cancelled by the organizer for any other reason, all payments made will be fully refunded.

Our form of group discount is called EXCLUSIVE BOOKING.
With an exclusive booking, you book the guide for the tour and can either come alone or bring additional participants (the upper limit is the maximum number of participants stated in the tour description).
EXCLUSIVE BOOKINGS are usually worthwhile if the number of participants is four or more.
An EXCLUSIVE BOOKING also includes a PICK-UP SERVICE from your accommodation (up to a maximum of 7 people). Simply indicate when booking that you would like to be picked up and our team will then contact you.
ATTENTION: This service is currently only available in Gran Canaria.

We currently accept payments via PayPal and credit card in our online shop.
Don't use PayPal? Then write us a message and we will issue you an invoice for the tour. Then you can easily pay by bank transfer.

Each of our guides is paid a fixed daily rate (regardless of the number of participants). But if you enjoyed the hike, any of our employees would be happy to receive something extra.
However, for long-distance hikes, where your guide is there for you practically 24 hours a day and supports you with many things beyond hiking (keyword hut life, outdoor kitchen, urgent phone calls, ...), we recommend a tip of €10 per person Day and participant.
